A great Monday!

Okay, this was Sunday actually. He was uneasy about riding on the dolly at first but then really got into it and when we went to take him off he cried.

Now on to Monday.
Daddy had to work late so we had Momma and Kelton time.
We went for a walk around the neighborhood. He is soo good when we walk. He is unusually quite most of the time until he notices the strollers cover and then has to play with it.
He was talking to me to tell me that the bottle was not staying in the holder like he thought it should.
We then went in the back yard to let him ride. He is doing so good on his 4wheeler. He holds the button for longer periods of time now, at first we thought he might get whiplash from the jerking of pushing and releasing the go button so much. He even conquers the septic tank (if he does not get stuck going up the side).
He decided that it was more fun to get on and off than to ride it. The funny part is to make sure that he is not touching the go button while he is getting on or off. You should have seen the look on his face when it started going and he was not sitting down yet.
I just love that smile, would be better without the paci but did not think about it until later.
He thought it was fun to ride standing up, he would turn around and give me a smirk like he knew he should not have been doing it.
This is the face of an unhappy man because I took his paci. He got over it though. The one on the right is one where he would accidently hit the button while getting on.

It is like he is saying all done.
Because this is what he did right after. He did not care that he left Momma sitting in the middle of the backyard.
I love to watch him climb stairs by himself. If he can find something to hold on too he will try to climb a step. If not he will hold up his hand so that you can hold it to let him climb up or down the step.
He wanted on Mater but really only wanted to play with the buttons and not really go anywhere.
After all that excitement, Little Man was hungry. He loves to feed himself.
And we had to have a bath after he ate because he had it from head to toe. I love his hair after a bath.
He was getting tired after a long day. He was hugging everything and diving into my lap.

Thank you soo much for a wonderful Monday night, Little Man!

New Camera

I have a new camera now and hopefully it will make it easier to keep this up to date. Wish me luck.

Don't you love his expression.

In his big boy car seat in Daddy's truck. Already has PJs on and ready for bed.
Kelton loves to play with the drill. He knows how to make it work.
Daddy, Kelton and the new addition to the family. Mater, Tow Mater's cousin.
Me and Little Man go walking in the neighborhood and he loves playing with the shade cover on the stroller.

The Lake.
We were invited to go to the lake. Kelton did not like the sunscreen but it kept him from getting burnt.
Now Daddy on the other hand did not use sunscreen, guess what happened to him.
He was ready to go.
The water was cold but he still loved it.
Later on he sat in his float and just lounged around. Aunt Debbie and Grandma kept you company.
I don't think he was fazed by Unc. ( Unc by the way is Uncle CJ's new nickname.)
Grandpa and Uncle Ronnie went fishing.

Thanks for the invite, we had a blast!

At Big Grandma's for an early mother's day lunch.
You were sick all weekend. Sat. you had a fever and then Mon. you broke out in a rash. On top of one of your bottom molars coming in and having diarrea. It was just a viral infection and it went away on Thrusday.

Branda's Birthday
Went to a Japanese Restaurant. You were a little scared of the fire, thank goodness. But overall the cook kept your attention. You were very cranky and only wanted Papa Mike.
We had to get up with you several times.
Uncle Richie got you laughing bunches.
Growing up way to fast. Already 14!

Easter

Big Grandma got to see him first at church. Aunt Debbie gave Kelton a cute little blue bunny that sings "Jesus Loves Me". Sara was so hoping that he would go off during church. Kelton is always trying to look over the pew. He is not quite tall enough to see much yet. He was not feeling too well. Grandma tried to get him to sleep and he finally did after he ate lunch. Can't you tell he likes to have his shoes off. Pa was tickling his leg. He laughed so hard.

I will do a post from the Easter Egg hunt soon.

Big Boy

He looked like such a big boy here. Still have not gotten rid of the paci, we are trying now.
You can tell that he is getting his molars in.
He was checking out his Daddy's hot rod magazine. First knee boo-boo. This is a poo-poo face. What a smile.

02/26/2010

We went to a Sportsman Fest Day for Uncle Donnie and Aunt Karen's church. They had a car show and tractors all in one. This was little man seeing his Grandma for the first time in a week.
He was soo cute in his hat.He sat with Aunt Debbie while we ate. She changed his diaper. Which was funny because she has not changed one in over 20 years.Daddy and Papa Mike both won trophies, the only two they gave that day.
This is the tractor that pulls the train that is named after Kody and Kelton. The train is the barrels that are turned into seats that are connected and pulled by the tractor.
